GOLDCREST

It snowed through the night but it was all gone by this morning.  It has been a bright sunny day but still bitterly cold.  I decided to go to The Metrocentre so I could shop in a warm environment.

I had a good mooch around the shops.  The place was very quiet.  I bought 3 tops and a pair of trousers.  Also some food shopping in Marks  & Spencers.

This little bird is a Goldcrest - a female I think.  It's the smallest European bird - 8½ - 9½cm. Its not a good shot as I took it through the ( grimy ) kitchen window. However I wanted to blip it as its the first time I have seen a Goldcrest on my feeders.
