Snow on the tracks

When I went to bed last night is was snowing, with light snow forecast all night. This morning the deepest spot was about 1 inch deep, so it must have stopped not long after I went to bed.

No surprise then to see snow on the railway tracks. (This is a goods line, so doesn't get a great deal of use, the passenger line nearby was clear and the trains were running).

Tonight was the first round of my camera clubs annual league competition. I had the maximum of 3 entries in the DPI and 3 in the prints.

The DPI was a little disappointing I had one entry which came 3rd. I did a little better in the prints taking first, second and third places. A bit of a clean sweep!
