Brighton Cat(egory) A

The ambulance station cat, Brighton Cat A adopted us about a year ago.  We know not where he hails from, or if indeed he belongs to anyone.  Once a scrawny scrap, now plump and thick-furred, he clearly enjoys the love and warmth available to him 24 hours a day.  His name refers to the way in which ambulance 999 calls are catergorised.  Cat A calls require an eight minute response time, cat C 30's, thirty minutes, and so on.  No prizes for guessing what a potential mate to Cat A would be called!
