Long-tailed tits

I'm chuffed to bits! Today's the very first time I've seen these birds close-up and so been able to identify them with certainty. Not only that, but they stayed long enough on the feeder for me to fetch the camera, focus it and click! Howzat! Before, I'd only ever seen them briefly, in flight, and in the distance.

Another day of sunshine, but it was so cold that even after I'd made drinking holes in the ice, twice, for the birds, twice they froze over again. Brrr.
