Timber!
My morning was a bitty but fine and I tied up some loose ends. On my way out at lunchtime, I popped in to see a client to get a signature too, which was a nice change.
Then it was over to Wellingborough for 1pm to see the company that is hopefully going to supply my neighbour and me with new front doors. A friend of mine supplies their timber and has promised them a good price on the wood if they look after me. It's all about who you know! So I spent an interesting half hour in their workshop being educated about various types of wood and they were super helpful. My blip is of apsome European Oak which I'm hoping I can afford. They're coming round to measure up in a couple of weeks. Depending on price and funds I may ask them to replace my two back doors too...
I headed over to Market Harborough as usual for a late lunch and to pick up some more ceiling paint as L is now set up to begin on his room tonight but it was way too expensive in Homebase.
Then it was head shrink time. We had a long discussion about my eating habits and I think I learned something and have things I need to implement over the coming weeks.
It was a quick detour via B&Q to get the paint and then home to The Archers. And I ordered some cushion covers for my bedroom from my curtain lady. It's a night in with Wolf Hall for me tonight.
