St Benedicts Wood
I knew it was going to be another day of moving furniture, battling the boxes and trekking up to the loft. So a crisp early start and we strolled to the woods, Jack loves it here.
Also had a visit from the elderly neighbour who casually mentioned that the previous owner used to trim her side of the hedge when our side was done. So that's 120ft of hawthorn for me to look forward to!
Worth it for all the birds it and the trees attracts. We have had collared doves, wood pigeons, great tits, long tailed tits, robins, sparrows, a heron and heard owls at night.
Bliss.
