Diamonds

Rain is such an infrequent thing, especially this time of year, that I tend to record each occurrence in this journal. This morning was no exception as last night's fairly significant rain left very beautiful drops on a number of different leaves surrounding our apartment. I shot each and every one, attempting multiple angles of the most interesting, before they had a chance to evaporate in the morning sunshine (because the clouds don't ever last long). Its a bit hard to get really tight shots without a macro lens, but by focusing close then zooming in further once they are on the computer, I can get in pretty close.
