As a kid I rode horses for hours up to the hills or along the beach where there was nobody else. I used to sneak back to my wee flat when I was older and do whatever I wanted with nobody to answer to or think about and nobody to apologise to. I could just enjoy being me.

 Im a social dipper in and dipper out. I love my family, my friends, my job and colleagues, but if I don't get time on my own every so often, I feel lost. This week I feel lost. Arran beckons at the weekend.
