Roaming Rivington

Another glorious day!

We drove across towards Rivington, but just our luck, there was some kind of Antique Fair on, so parking was a nightmare. Instead we drove on towards one of the more remote car parks, which was fine! Donned our walking boots, wrapped up, silly hats on, and off for a good old walk in the bright sunshine!

There was still plenty of snow around and some of the paths were very icy in parts, after all, it is some 1200 feet up! We headed up towards the Pike, at a steady pace, it's a manageable climb, with some spectacular views, this being one of them!

It's the first time we've ventured almost to the top......it was really enjoyable and we will most certainly go back :-)
