The next best thing to snow!

A hard white frost!!

Still no snow to be seen around here, but this morning I woke to a hard white frost that had decorated the Christmas tree with tiny little crystals of ice. Nature can be so magical...

A short walk this afternoon to try and wear-in a new pair of boots ready for my weekend in Cambridgeshire, there's lots of walking on the cards! The rest of the day has just disappeared doing all those little nitty bitty jobs that need doing before you go away for a few days.

Was hoping that by heading East, I might run into a bit of the white stuff, but the forecast is saying rain for the weekend. Let's hope they're wrong! It wouldn't be the first time!!
