Arctic sunset

We were treated to a superb Arctic sunset this afternoon.

Taken from a bridge that connects Sweden and Finland, overlooking the frozen river at Karesuando.

We were snowmobiling at high speed along that frozen river yesterday!

Now that we have seen the sun for the first time, perhaps the change in the weather will mean that the Northern Lights will put on a great show tonight???

We visit an Ice Hotel tomorrow before we head home after a wonderful few days inside the Arctic circle!
