Larch cones

We have an enormous Larch tree in the garden. We can spot it from miles away! Sadly in the recent storm it moved and brought down the dry stane dyke that is alongside it. So I phoned the Hydro people as it will hit the power lines if it does come down and I think when they come to look they will offer to take it down safely. We have a similar situation with an oak tree. . I will be sad if they take it down as my children used the swing that is on it and it has lots of wild life. We shall just have to wait and see.
