Procession

Today we went cycling again and we saw a lot of people at the Hindu Temple Seenigama Devalaya. So entered the site and soon we were asked to make a boattrip to the nearby island where the main temple is located.
We decided to stay on the mainland and at 12:00 hrs all traffic was stopped , bells started ringing and a procession with a drummer and masked men passed by. People were carrying fruit and we were handed bananas.
Have to find out what this all meant but now we have to pack our bags to leave for the airport tomorrowmorning at 05:00....
