Aberdeen Art Gallery

A rather cold and wet afternoon seems like a good occasion to pop in to the art gallery. The photo is of the atrium taken from the first floor. On 2nd March the Gallery closes until the Autumn of 2017 for a substantial refurbishment. I am not sure how much this view will have changed after the gallery reopens. Certainly the staircase, which is almost out of view behind the pillars and arcade near the entrance, will have gone.

The picture second from the left is a Vettriano.

After a stroll around the gallery we stopped for coffee before leaving. The departure being carefully timed to avoid the periodic showers, some of which wee quite heavy.
