Here's the Boyfriend!

Well we've been spoilt again today.  This time the boyfriend arrived as well and they were very happy to have a huge drink at the water bowl.  The past couple of nights they have been quite happy for me to quietly walk out and sit at the table and take photos.  Now that's a privilege!

The Gang Gang's are the most intriguing birds that visit us here at Wombat Hollow.  I have many Aussie blippers tell me that they've never seen one in the wild and that's because they are very shy and quite rare.

This is one of the most joyful image that I can share from the four walks I did on the Milford Track.  This was the Club Ped team at the top of McKinnon Pass.  We had all reached the top and were absolutely delighted.  For many of us it was the first time we had ever attempted a trek of this magnitude and we were all feeling very proud of our effort.  

There are 11 zig zags to walk before you reach the top of the pass and we have just walked the length of the valley you can see behind us.  We felt we were on top of the walk and yes Snowy, we felt like we'd just conquered Everest!!
