Contrite

Oh boy, I just got myself into deep deep trouble.

In fact it's so deep, I don't know how to dig myself out.

The thing is, there's this little boy down the back, and he stands and stars at me.  I've never met a little child before, and quite frankly they scare me witless.  SHE picked me up to say hello, but I wasn't having any of that, I just growled and barked, and struggled, and then Harvey the dog next door joined in. Oh it was a cacophony, I can tell you.

The upshot was, I got carried back inside with some whispered words of warning - like - if you ever do that again you'll be grounded for a WEEK.  Not quite sure what that meant, but it sounded bad.  SHE said I embarrassed her.  Didn't mean to - I was frightened.

I'll just have to be as cute as cute can be to get back in her good books.
