Fond farewell.

Today has been a fab day!

Dad popped over for a coffee this morning, then off into town to meet Joanne. We were best friends in primary school, and we're usually pretty pants at keeping in touch regularly but when we do get together it's always such a laugh, reminiscing about old times! Seeing as I don't keep in touch with anyone else "remember when..." is always a big feature!

It was then off to a ceilidh for two people from church leaving for America in the next wee while. One of these people is the lovely Brittany, who has been involved in student stuff since I came to Edinburgh, she's been such a blessing and I'm going to miss her a lot! It was an absolutely fantastic night, the ceilidh band were amazing, I have bruises from the basket dance and blisters on my feet (a sure sign of a good ceilidh), the food was great and most importantly the company was even better, great to see some old and missed faces! It was just sobering at the end when I remembered it was a goodbye party! :(
