I will give them full marks for trying to encourage patrons to sit on the patio. The fire pits were all lit but as you see no one has been tempted to sit out and enjoy the harbour views. In the summer this is a very good spot to sit and watch the harbour and people passing on the boardwalk.

Today is No 3 daughter's 25th birthday. (How did that happen?) When she was born we were living in Sydney, Australia. Because of the time difference when I phoned my mother in Canada to tell her the news, she was able to tell all her friends that her granddaughter would be born the next day. She loved that!
