White wake-up

Awoke to this white stuff!!

Bit of a blip yesterday (panic!) with the arrangements for moving our daughter over to Germany. We had booked a hire van, 2 family members and more man (sorry, person) power to load the van this end and (via the tunnel) travel to Germany and unload at their flat (3rd floor!). However, at the last minute found out that the van didn't have all weather tyres (a legal requirement for Germany). Many phone calls and cancelling of van hire and tunnel bookings, it is now sorted!!! My lovely son-in-law (to be) has hired a van in Germany and is coming over tomorrow, loading up and the happy couple will then go to Germany on Thursday for a few days to settle into their flat. Result! Managed to extend the tunnel tickets until November 2015, I'm sure we will be over there at some time this year :))).

Hump day tomorrow - only 1 week and 3 days!
