Lodging A Complaint - Not Enough Snow

As I peeped over my duvet out of the window this morning I was quite excited to see everything blanketed with snow.

I dealt with my responsibilities as quickly as I could. More snow was falling. Nice small dry flakes. Hopefully Lodge Farm would be a winter wonderland.

A bit disappointing again, not sleety like the other day but conditions were warming and the white stuff was disappearing fast. I had a nice walk and saw three deer running across the snowscape. The farmhouse is on the site of a former hunting lodge.

While I was photographing some agricultural machinery against the white backdrop, I met a lovely ten-month old Staffy called Sherman. He was built like a tank but that's not how he got his name. His owner's daughter named him after the character in the film Mr Peabody And Sherman.
