Mallard walks on water

...rather gingerly. The middle, or should I say most of, the pond was frozen today, in Stratford Park. I was down there for my Tuesday-special lunchtime break and shopping trip.

The street where we live looked distinctly icy this morning, but I was relieved to find that there was only a light dusting of snow on the ground, and nothing at all in town.

The heating was back to full function at work, and we all had a much better day than yesterday. I"D go so far as to say we had fun! Then I rushed home so I could get together a chicken dinner and eat before I went out to my next job.

And now I'm off to the bath, witha good book. Night night...
