Going Green

Really rubbish photo but this is one of the sixteen photovoltaic (PV) panels that are being fitted to our roof.
We have considered harnessing the sun’s energy for many years but in the past the cost just seemed to outweigh the benefit. However, with the payments available through the feed in tariff and export tariff for the electricity generated from the panels, it all starts paying for itself well within the lifetime of the system.
In the meantime, it reduces our energy costs and allows us the peace of mind that we are doing our little bit for the planet.
