Castle Douglas

The drive down was fantastic - a lot of snow still lying on the hills - thinning out as we descended into Moffat (here), but still deep and lovely west of Dumfries.   Only wrk got in the way of the whole thing, but in fairness to it, it sort of facilitated it too. 

Castle Douglas is a great little town, as ever.
