Test

So, the long awaited allergy test. After being referred back in November, and being re-referred 3 weeks ago, Dexter finally got his skin prick test today.

He dealt with the whole thing so well. We'd prepared ourselves for tears but he was happy throughout. They tested for Milk, Wheat, Egg and Soya. Out of the 4, the only one he didn't react to was Soya! (a bit ridiculous given that he eats bread on a daily basis apparently without any ill effects). The egg was the biggest reaction out the lot but I've a feeling more tests will be required. Hopefully we'll have an appointment with the doc at sick kids sooner rather than later so he can interpret the results for us.
Anyway... That was the morning. Back to work for the afternoon. Sometimes being at work feels like being in a parallel universe to real life. Time goes differently and life outside of the workshop seems like another lifetime. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
