Christmas Eve...

... And on the road again.

We set off early from Shrewsbury so as to reach Paddock Wood, in Kent, at a reasonable hour. We have a family tradition of all getting together for Christmas and that is a primary reason for our trip back to the UK.

The plan was that only the key people, who had to know, knew that we were coming back for the occasion so we were looking forward to surprising everyone. When we got to the house though everyone was out(!)

We tried again 40 mins later and were greeted by big hugs - a nice surprise then :)
