Blue Teasel
A cold, really cold and crisp day. Too raw for me. No snow but ice and frost everywhere.
This teasel flower head was cut in December and dried, then painted blue and dipped in glitter. It was part of a Christmas arrangement which is still around as it catches the light and twinkles at me when I walk past. It reminds me of my ever increasing, self seeding teasel patch in the back garden. I intend to move a clump of it into the grass border - if the weather eeeever warms up.
