Loweswater

Another gorgeous but very cold day in Cumbria so had to make the most of it.  It was -4c when I set off for Loweswater.  Misty came too and we had a fantastic walk by the lake.  It had warmed up a bit by the time I got there but it didn't matter as I had lots of layers on and stayed very warm..You can't beat snow on the fells can you :)  A few more are on flikr

Just as I was leaving Loweswater I had to slam the brakes on as there was a heron in the middle of the road.  I tried a few times to get it to fly into the field which it did but kept insisting on going back to the road, hope it stayed safe!
