A reluctant model and luckily restrained this weekend. If she hadn't been, she might have clocked the speaker who gave the Toast to the Lasses at the Forbes Burns Bash and Ceilidh the previous evening.

The food was good and mostly home made:-

The drink was good:-

All the other speeches were good
The Ceilidh was wonderful if a bit tame
Only the Toast to the Lasses caused a slight element of discord as women were lambasted by the inebriated speaker and tempers rose in response. It was no surprise to hear that the speaker ended up in hospital later in the evening after an altercation with his brother following an unfortunate kick which he placed on his nephews back side. It was only a surprise that his assailant was not female. A man's a man for a' that though.
