Well, the first thing that came to mind when I read that the theme this week is "spirit" is booze. Quite telling really. After mulling it over I thought of a few other meanings but none of them formed an idea in my head how I could put it in a picture. So booze it is.

On our travels through Germany we like to stop at local winery shops, sample their wines and they often distill "spirits" as well which you can taste before buying.
This one is from the Lake Constance area and made of apples and pears. Really tasty but only to be consumed in small doses!
