Unexpected lapwing blip

I was all set to blip the Mallard photo I had taken at lunchtime when I spotted a field full of lapwings on the way home from work (me, not the lapwings - although they could have been coming home from work - how would I know). 

Luckily there was a handy lay-by so I was able to stop to take their photo.

It's not as sharp as I would have liked but the sun was setting so I was struggling with the light a bit.  Of course this means tomorrows blip is practically sorted - I feel another trip to the duck pond coming on !!
