Snowy walk in North London took us to the site of Temple Bar removed in 1888 to Theobalds, since restored and moved back into Paternoster Square, besides St Pauls.  This  stone is a reminder of its history.
Temple Bar is the only surviving gate that once stood over the entrances to the City of London.
