Time flies!

Taking my evening walk to watch the sunset I got to thinking about the longest day.

A quick calculation revealed it is only a month away!

They say as you get on a bit time speeds up but this is ridiculous. We still have frosts. A few days ago it was -4C in Aberdeen and the garden is in a tizzy with flowers forced by surprise heat wave in March only to be nipped in bud by severe frosts.

In the distance you can see two of Scotland's most famous mountains Ben More (left) with its twin Stob Binnein , both popular with walkers.
