SNOW & ICE ON THE GRAND UNION

Looked out of the window last night just before midnight & horror of horrors it was snowing ....in the South - whatever next ?

Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland and because I had to take C to her crafting class I called down at the canal (to the rear of Tescos) & had a little slide down the towpath. Not many people but quite a lot of wildlife though no ducks. Saw a fox on the other side in the area surrounding Walton Mill. He looked hungry & he looked me up & down more than once !

Have just picked up C & dropped her at N & R's as they are both at work but expecting the loft insulation crew. Its a good job we are close.

Snow rapidly meting now (12.35) & Merlot is sleeping like a baby in his bed.
