Moon over Nelson

It always seems strange to me how very small the year 9 students are each year.  I guess we don't really notice them growing during the year so by the end of the year their 'size' is what we assume Year 9's to be.  And then the new intake arrive a few weeks later with that year of growth still ahead of them and the difference is sooooo noticeable.

New students in my Form Class seem lovely, and oddly, with more Year 13's than year 9's in it, the atmosphere is, I'm sure, going to be awesome.  

Up to L & M's for a BBQ to celebrate S's birthday this evening - a lovley night which had the effect of stretching out the holiday feeling just a little longer :)  Very nice.

This was the view over Nelson from up at L & M's - the moon looked magnificent........in fact, the whole scene looked magnificent.  We are indeed very fortunate to be able to call this place 'home'.

A good day which got better towards the end :)
