Small Pools

The dog and I enjoyed an early walk before launching into a very busy day. Parts of the upper Taylor River are bone dry but there are one or two areas where small pools of water can be seen. I have seen a pied shag and a white faced heron sitting on the edge of the nearer pool. No doubt they are hunting for breakfast.
The packers were in our house from 8.30am this morning. My word they were fast and very efficient. They will return tomorrow to complete packing up the contents of the house. It is all go and quite exciting in some ways!
