Easy Rider Day 3

We started the day with the best breakfast for a long long time. We had a dish called Bò Né, which roughly means "Stand-back beef" due to it arriving sizzling and spitting on a hot plate. Beef steak, a meatball, egg and some veg with a baguette on the side. It was utterly delicious and almost worth getting up early for.

We stopped along the way to look at rubber trees, cocoa trees and watch rice paper being made. Then we rode up in to the mountains with all the long and winding roads, passing lots of large trucks. On the way down, we came across a back-log of loads of lorries parked along the side of the road. Then we found this overturned truck, surrounded by chaos. I didn't have a chance to stop and take any photos so I had to rely on my GoPro.

We had a late lunch of various seafood and then drove along the coast to Nha Trang, a big beach resort city famous for being full of Russians. Our tour ended around 5.30pm and I got on a night bus to head north to Hoi An.

The three days were fantastic. Next time I come to Vietnam, I want to get a 60-day visa, buy a motorbike and ride the whole length of the country, stopping in towns without tourists.
