Deepest , darkest Peru!

Was out buying groceries today and came across Mangoes all the way from Peru!
That is miles away from New Zealand .....
I hate the thought of buying too much produce that is not locally grown....a country like ours is pretty good at growing things. Mangoes from Peru is ridiculous .. even though they are one of the things we can't grow we have our pacific neighbours like the Cook Islands that do and they are a lot closer. ( some of you might remember my blips of my awful allergic reaction I had to mangoes so I won't be eating any no matter where they come from!)

And on the subject of Peru, Ella and I really liked the movie Paddington we saw recently!
