A surprise

My friend Danny has a green thumb and he tries to help me grow some plants in my home.  He gave me this plant ( and I forget the name) when it was tiny and just started to grow along with instructions on watering. So I let it sit on the dining room window ledge and watered just like he said.
And it worked!  Soon a pink flower will be here!
