Wrong Turn

I think she's lost. The good news is that by purchasing a poxy rag for the next five days by Saturday I'll be the proud owner of more Lego. On Saturday I shall be going to Toys R Us and getting five Lego sets. That would have been my ultimate day out back when I were a lad.

In other news we had a really strong sales day today - the best since I've been the ABM (eight months). May, June and July are traditionally busy times at a merchant but as yet we haven't seen the upturn. I can't help but feel the weather has hit us hard but that doesn't carry any weight with the powers that be: poor sales are poor sales. Therefore a nice chunky days takings to haul us up the branch league table is more than welcome. We were bottom six at start of play today but I'm guessing that we could just touch the top twelve tomorrow.

I should get a life.
