Slow down!

Oh my word!! Yes this is my SEVEN year old!

In fairness to her, it took DM three attempts to pose like this because she kept laughing. She came over to me to show me a pose that she had just made up :O

Where has my little baby gone? The one that would stumble around trying to maintain her balance as she learn't to walk whilst saying "Hiya" to everyone that passed her.

It's so quick and easy to fall into the habit of rushing our kiddies to get stuff done because of daily pressures/responsibilities; whilst at the same time we miss the amazing moments of childhood.

In the week I aim to be up, washed and dressed before the girls wake up. Now, that doesn't happen everyday, but it's my aim. My movement sometimes wakes either DM or Aj; and it's those moments I love. Kiddies just waking up, blurry eyed and just needing a cuddle and a kiss.

I love my girls wholeheartedly; they drive me crazy, they push boundaries and yet, they learn, they love and they are my children. I wouldn't have a day without them.
