Light reading! Going round in circles!
And starting to go round the bend!
This Land Rover starting problem is doing my head in!
I thought I'd resolved it on Saturday (see Saturday's Blip) however trying to start it on Sunday it was taking ages to fire again, although way better than before.
Even more worrying is that when I turn the key to off and remove it, the engine still runs - Hmmm, that's a new one...
It does eventually shut down after a few seconds or by reinserting the key, turning it to position 2 and then off again a few times.
I'm now getting a good amount of fuel at the filter and when it starts it's running better than ever.
So, dodgy fuel stop solenoid?
That would explain the non starting and the not shutting down.
I am getting a click whenever I remove and replace the wire from the terminal though.
To be continued...
