Freaky Headless Doll

I took a stroll down by the riverside after work, and chanced upon a headless, footless and very bedraggled doll that looked like it had been recently dredged up from the Thames. And for some reason it was propped up against the door of one of the boat sheds. I can't help thinking there's some kind of interesting story behind it...?
