Sweet Dispenser

"Dad....can we build a "Sweet Dispenser" for one of my friends ...its her birthday!!" Came the cry from my oldest!!

So what could I say but ...."Ok".

Isaac came out with a design that he had found and it was then "get to work" over the weekend to create what you see above - the idea is that you fill the jar with sweets - "M and M's" work a treat!! - and as you pull the piece of wood towards you, the dispensed sweets will fall effortlessly into your hand below.

Sounds simple...well it worked a treat and the recipient was delighted!!
