Wound up in Wexford

Dusk

It was still light enough at 5 this evening for me to take a picture I've been wanting for a while.  This is the new "medical school" building.  The medical school is based at UEA, and did occupy a area on the 3rd floor of the East ward block of the hospital as a foothold in the hospital itself.

They have now built their own premises just next door to the hospital, and quite a handsome building it is too.  Kevin would approve - lots of wood cladding.  The building works inevitably overran, and it was because of this that we had to move into temporary offices before moving to our final home, where the medical school was located - though actually I'm not sure whether they occupied our actual offices.

En route to work this morning, a hawk (I think it was a sparrowhawk) pulled into the road in front of me and flew about 200 metres before swerving off and perching in a tree - a lovely sight.  Unfortunately I couldn't stop to take a picture - no parking opportunity.
