Rooftop Vigil

When I arrived home this evening, I quickly went up to the roof to see if I could shoot the moon.

The moon, of course, immediately went behind a bank of cloud, where it looked as though it would petulantly remain for some considerable time.

But my patience was rewarded. Indeed, I had plenty of time to try different angles and exposures until she made another appearance and agreed to be photographed.
