The outside temperature was minus three as I walked up to start Granny Duty - at 7 am this morning - no wonder icicles could be found - and parts of Coppice Pond iced over

Has warmed up a bit since then - though there are still pockets of sheet ice - which 6 and 4yo took great delight in sliding down - I refused their offer to have a go myself - have to conserve my energy for Zumba tonight
