Layers

As we walked along Lancaster Canal this afternoon, I got some very good shots of the water that had iced over and several ducks that were sliding about trying to get bread that passers by had thrown to them.  It was quite funny to watch.

However, I chose this one that shows layers of hedgerows, trees, the Garstang wind turbine in the background and the beautiful patterns and colours of the sky.

It was extremely cold but still; the perfect afternoon for a good invigorating walk.
