Taxi Dance

Today we left the UK for Houston - or so we thought.  As a treat we had used air miles built up from years of travelling to get business class tickets to and from the UK. Our return flight was due to be on one of the new Dreamliners and I was especially looking forward to that.  We got to the Airport at 10:30 for our 1:40 flight (Kindly driven there by a friend).  We hung around in the business lounge and eventually got onto the plane at about 1pm.  It was beautiful.  Fantastic full reclining seats.  Large screen TV, push button dimmable windows. all was great.

After 5 hours of sitting in our luxury seats however we found ourselves back off the plane and having to go back to UK customs and off to a hotel for the night as the flight was cancelled.  Apparently they could not get a light to go off on the dashboard.  I am all for safe flying but this was really disappointing.  We ended up back in a crappy hotel at Heathrow eating a plate of WHITE for dinner and wishing we were at home.      Here is an appropriate tale :-  Airport

Anyway my blip today is cell phone shot of a taxi outline in Terminal 2 at Heathrow.  It seemed appropriate since all we did today was taxi down the runway a little bit.
