Frozen Weißensee

The glorious WeiBensee - 11.6km lake 900m up in the Gaital Alps. A crystal clear natural lake in a valley between 2300m mountain ridges and peaks. The area is full of walking trails & climbs, skiing (downhill, back-country and cross-country) and ice skating in the winter. Half the lake has healthy hotels and cabins, the other is natural park. We are SO going to have to come back here soon.
