Clearing slowly

The tugs wait, for the weather to gradually clear - and it’s not been too bad a day.  Into Kirkwall for morning dancing and I even splashed out on a Sunday newspaper.  On arriving home I retired to the porch with fresh coffee and a slice of CMC’s ineffable raspberry cake.  After starting the paper, and cramming in another few paragraphs of Wolf Hall, I went to fix the cistern.  Inevitably more dancing tonight, when music will be provided by veteran accordionist Jim Anderson.
